Every piece of content in TMDB — from trending titles to actor headshots — comes from [The Movie Database (TMDB) API](https://www.themoviedb.org/documentation/api). When you open the app, it makes authenticated requests to the API using your personal API key, then presents the results in a clean, browsable interface.
